JAMB suspends 2021 UTME /Direct Entry registration

The 2021 UTME/DE registration earlier scheduled to commence April 8th, 2021 has been suspended by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB. This was made known by JAMB’s Head of Media and Protocol, Dr Fabian Benjamin in a statement.

According to him the suspension on the 2021 UTME/DE registration was caused by some unforeseen circumstances in linking the NIN with the whole registration process as the board was determined effort to have a NIN integration.

He finally said that the challenge is being resolved and once that is done and the process of smooth PIN vending and candidate access to the registration app for the 2021 UTME/DE is completed, the full processes shall commence.

Candidates are therefore requested to exercise some patience. “The process shall be up and running shortly for our advertisement to be rollout so that candidates can begin the creation of profile,” he added.

This means candidates cannot create profile for registration until the issue is resolved.

Candidates should not take this as an opportunity to relax as the issue will be resolved soon in few days and the whole registration process will fully commence
